Out rolled Mama J and Papa J and in rolled my mom (aka "Grandma").
Penelope was more than thrilled to have another playmate at her beckon call.
First stop: the neighborhood park
a look of adoration for Grandma
Grandma taught Penelope how to pick dandelions and blow the seeds away with fervor
a brief rest and snack of sugar snap peas
Next stop: Duke Gardens to feed the waterfowl
turtle sighting
annoyance at the catfish getting to the bread before the swans
after all that outdoor play it was time for a cooking lesson
the end result wasn't too great, but that's what happens when you get a toddler involved
then Grandma got some cooking lessons of her own
Looks like Penelope prefers her own cupcakes over Grandma's
picking flowers for Grandma
a fish kiss of gratitude
